We encourage everyone to use the tracking source presets because tracking source configuration is one of the most important elements in tracking attribution.

If you don’t configure your tracking sources properly, the tracking numbers will not correctly swap. This leads to very messy attribution. To help you avoid confusion or incorrect swaps, we’ve created over 30 tracking source presets that you can use.

Try starting with a preset tracking source. If it doesn’t 100% meet your needs, use it as a starting point for your source. You can always fine-tune and edit your sources.
